Northwest Washington Medical Society Scholarship

The Northwest Washington Medical Society Scholarship was established for pre-medicine students at Western Washington University (WWU). A scholarship in the approximate amount of $1,800 will be awarded per academic year to a qualified WWU student who is pursuing a pre-med pathway.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a curriculum in preparation to attend medical school
  • Completion of 90 or more credits
  • “B” grades or better in Chemistry 351, Physics 114 or 161, and Biology 206
  • Minimum 3.5 Grade Point Average (GPA)

Dr. Ralph & Mrs. Eleanor Rinne Pre-Medical Scholarship

Selection is based on demonstration of significant financial need (as defined by FAFSA or WASFA), exceptional academic credentials, and a strong motivation to become a physician. Two scholarships in the approximate amount of $2,250 each will be awarded per academic year to two qualifying WWU students.
