I was born and raised in Washougal, WA. After my high school graduation, I attempted to pursue my career in theatre by starting my BFA in Theatre Performance at CWU. After my first year, I decided to take a different route. In early September, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, where I spent the next four years as a Combat Engineer. Primarily stationed in Oahu at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, I also travelled to Okinawa and Australia, enjoying the different cultures and the beautiful sites on the other side of the world.
At the end of my time in the Marines, I transferred to Washington State University, where I received my Bachelor's degree. While in Pullman, I worked as a secondary advisor for Veterans Student Support Services and as an Orientation Coordinator over the summer. Following that, I decided to pursue a career in advising, here at Western. As a previous first generation student, I have truly come to love assisting students through this exciting time in their lives.
Interests/Hobbies: Theatre (both acting and directing), walking my two dogs, writing my book, reading, watching tv and movies, playing games with my family, assisting veterans.
