As a first-generation student from Colorado, I came to Bellingham to study Marine Biology, eventually shifting my focus to Biology Education. My post-graduation career path was varied, working jobs in pest management to automotive maintenance, as I searched for my professional home. I understand firsthand the daunting task of navigating countless academic and career options to find your place. This journey ultimately led me back to Western with the Academic Advising and Student Achievement Center. What truly resonates with me about this role, and what I loved about teaching, is the chance to support students in their self-realization and growth. I'm excited to be a welcoming presence, helping students navigate the resources that will empower them to discover their passions and make confident decisions about their future.
