Application Workshop with Western University of Health Sciences' College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest

Date: April 16, 2026
Time: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Location: Old Main 235
Details: Western University of Health Sciences in Oregon is coming to visit WWU and speak about College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest (COMP-NW) and other programs they offer including: Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Doctor of Optometry (OD), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Come join us for a robust conversation to learn about what they look for in applicants, the application process, and get answers to any questions you may have. The information from this workshop can be applied more broadly to any professional school application. Feel free to come and go as your schedule allows. No registration required.

University of Washington School of Medicine Office of Admission Visit

Details: Sarah Hafner from the Office of Admissions at the University of Washington (UW) School of Medicine (SOM) is providing an application workshop for WWU students interested in medical school. Attendees will walk away from this session with an understanding of the application process, what UW SOM looks for in their applicants, and answers to any questions you have. Come join us as your schedule allows. No registration required.

Suture Clinic is Back!

Date: May 19, 2026
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Location: Interdisciplinary Science Building 310
Details: Join us for a workshop on basic suturing techniques and test your skills with medical recruiters from the U.S. Army Seattle. There will also be a short presentation on the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) for students pursuing medical, dental, or other health degrees.
